Pat & Vanna Go to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens | Wheel of Fortune

– We’ve been very lucky,
we got to do a lot of travel this season,
San Francisco, the UK. – And one of our stops
included South Florida. Take a look. – Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
celebrates Miami’s history. – While also offering a
window into the city’s future. – [Pat] Built as the winter home for industrialist James Deering, Vizcaya’s main house
was completed in 1916, the 10-acre formal
gardens six years later. The 70 room estate is furnished with an impressive collection
of Roman sculptures, Renaissance tapestries,
Chinese ceramics and more. – In 1953, Vizcaya
opened as a public museum for all to enjoy, a
National History Landmark situated on beautiful Biscayne Bay, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens bridges Miami’s past, present and future. We’re in Vizcaya’s courtyard. – I know, and, but you’ll notice, we’re not outdoors, as
most courtyards are. They enclosed this place with glass, so now, it used to be
open to the elements, now we’re safe here if it ever rains. But it almost never does
here in South Florida. Sometimes in the afternoon. (laughs) We’ll see you next time, so long. – Bye-bye. (upbeat music)
