– I’m pretty good at this lawyering stuff. – Sorry I’m late, Your Honor. – Holy Porsche. She’s gotta be from my attorney’s office. Hey, thanks for coming but we’re all set. He’s letting me go. – He’s letting you go? – Yeah, your job’s pretty easy today. All you have to do now is stand there and let me look at you. Listen, I’m gonna cut to the chase, me, you, dinner. Bachakow! – What the, ow, ooh. – Kachow! – Please ugh. – I know, I get that reaction a lot. I create feelings in others that they themselves don’t understand. (engine revving) – Ugh, oh! – Oh, I’m sorry. Did I scare you? – Well a little bit. But I’ll be all right. – Okay. I’m gonna go talk to the judge. – Do what you gotta do, baby. Oh, but listen, be careful. Folks around here are not
firing on all cylinders, if you know what I mean. – Kaching! Ah! – I’ll keep that in mind. Hey there Mater. – Howdy Sally. – Hi folks. – [All] Morning Miss Sally. – You know her? – She’s the town attorney and my fiance. – What? – I’m just kidding. She just likes me for my body. – No no no no. Out of gas? How could I be out of gas? (laughing) – Boy, we ain’t as dumb
as you think we are. – But, but, but, but how did you? – We siphoned your gas
while you were passed out. Kachow! – Ow ow ow ow. – My name is Mater and
I’ll be your waiter. Mater is a waiter,
that’s funny right there. – Mater, you work here? – Well yeah I work here. What’d you think? I just knock in here
when nobody was looking and pretended to be a waiter just so I could hang out with you? – Oh yeah, how ridiculous would that be? – Now, can I start you two lovebirds off with a couple drinks? – Yes, I’ll have my usual. (laughing) – You know what? I’m gonna have that too. (squeaking) – Uh, right, your usual. (laughing) – But I can’t go out on the track and do the same old thing, it won’t work. – Then change it up, try something new. – I don’t know, Sally, I. – Don’t fear failure. Be afraid of not having the chance. You have the chance. Doc didn’t. And you can either take it, or you can do what you been doing, sitting in here for months and by the way, I love what
you’ve done with the place. I mean, the monster movie lighting and the musky air freshener and don’t let anyone tell you you’re not working that primer, because, wow, I have never
found you more attractive. And now that I’ve been in
here for a couple minutes, the stench, I’m getting
kind of used to it. – Okay, okay, Sal. I get it, I get it. – I miss you, Lightning. We all do. (sighing) (sad music) (sighing) (engine revving) (laughing) – Just passing through? – Actually I thought I
would stop and stay a while. I hear this place is back on the map. – It is? – Yeah, there’s some rumor floating around that some hotshot Piston Cup race car is setting up his big
racing headquarters here. – Really? Oh well, there goes the town. – I really missed you Sally. – Well I create feelings in others they themselves don’t understand and blah blah blah blah blah. (laughing)
(helicopter rotors spinning) – McQueen and Sally! Are beneath the tree! K-I-S-S, uh, I-N-T! (upbeat music)
